ABOUT US

Located in Rigby, Idaho, L. A. Parkinson Trucking, Inc. was started in 1977 by Laine Parkinson. We started pulling reefers hauling produce to Canada from the Southern United States until 1981.

 

In 1982, we changed to flatbeds and ran the 20 Western States. Then in 1997, we began running our trucks to the Eastern States. This helped our drivers get more miles and more home time.

 

We currently operate in 41 states. We do not run the New England areas. We have a base of customers nationwide and we run steady all year.

 

Currently we have all Peterbilts and pull flatbed trailers. We are a small company and do not treat you like a number.

  We also operate a brokerage called Parkwest Transport Brokers LLC which started in 1985. We are a bonded broker and we are listed in the Gold Book.
